Range & Status

A scarce, offshore species found in depths of 1-90m. South and west coasts of the British Isles from the Isle of Man through to the eastern English Channel. Extending south to west Africa and the Mediterranean. Numerous older records for Cornwall, however, a few recent records including Fal Bay area in 1982.
